Parent Run Club is an online based 5K preparation program designed to help the parents and guardians of our GOTR girls stay fit, healthy and motivated. Our GOTR curriculum is used as a starting point to introduce mental and physical well being while also mirroring what the girls are learning in their season.  

We know parents have busy lives so fitness (both physical and emotional), can sometimes take the back seat. Our meetings are online and run for 30 minutes with topics ranging from self-talk to celebrating your wins. We provide links to quick workouts to follow on Youtube, a full couch to 5K training guide, weekly check-ins, a chance to win gift cards, a Fitbit, a PRC t-shirt and participation fee waived to the season ending Celebratory 5K! 

The same philosophy we use with the girls we use during Parent Run Club. It’s not about being faster or better than anyone, you should strive to do your best; so although the name is Parent “Run” Club you are encouraged to do what you can! 

Each participant is required to join the FitBit group and send photo updates of their weekly progress (this will be a photo of your FitBit progress, not body photos). This information is used for gift card eligibility and reported to our sponsors. Further information will be delivered at the in-person welcome meeting on Monday October 16th at The Coop Cowork located at 5955 S Edmond St. 

This program will be provided in English and in Spanish. When signing up, note which language you are signing up for as meeting times will likely be different. Please stay tuned for participating sites!
